Julie Hadfield joined the family Company in 1993, having previously worked in accountancy for eight years. In 2008 Julie was appointed Managing Director, succeeding her father, Harry Hearsum, the founder of Hillserve.
Since the acquisition of Hillserve by British Gas in 2010, Julie is successfully continuing in the role as General Manager.
Over the past nine years Julie has overseen the steady organic growth and expansion of Hillserve to its current position as one of the leading companies of insulation in the UK.
Julie remains firm in her belief that whilst the Company work within the philosophy of a professional and large business, it is steadfast in the ethos of its founder that our Customers can expect a quality service throughout their relationship with all members of the Hillserve team.

With a lifetime experience in construction, Alan is now responsible for sourcing, pricing and developing new build contracts.

Dave is another of our management team that has developed his career within Hillserve before being promoted to his current role in 2009; Depot Manager for Warrington.
With a range of in-house and external training skills acquired, Dave runs a team of 40 personnel covering fitters, administration, warehouse, inspectors and programmers as far North as Cumbria and South to Staffordshire, over to the borders of the North Wales coast.

David’s day to day role controls a team of 30 personnel, including administration staff, installation teams and Assessors. Hillserve strive to employ local people, the majority of which being Welsh speaking. David ensures operational efficiency for Hillserve activities in North West Wales working with local agencies and associations.
With over 20 years experience in Logistics in Military and Construction environments, David’s knowledge has proved essential taking the Wales depot from strength to strength.

Having worked for Hillserve for over 20 years, John’s knowledge of the industry and our products and services is invaluable and has been gained working through the ranks from a Fitter before being promoted to an Inspector, a role he performed with distinction for over ten years. John was promoted to his current role of Scheme Manager in 2005 and coordinates over twenty Assessors through the North of England and Wales. John keeps Hillserve abreast of technology and innovation, something that we require to meet the ever growing demand for savings, both financially by the consumer and morally for the environment.

With a passion for Health and Safety and an experienced Auditor, Inspector, Risk Assessor and Trainer, Ken’s wealth of experience will ensure Hillserve attain the best standards in all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment issues.

Paul’s role ensures all Inspectors are fully trained to carry out quality control inspections to BBA Specifications and to undertake Health & Safety Audits with site operatives to ensure they are following company H & S Procedures.

From joining as a fitter, Paul has risen through the ranks of supervisor, inspector and manager before being promoted to his current role of Contracts and Installation Manager several years ago.
Paul role encompasses a wide remit; all aspects of installation from domestic and retail to new build installs, Paul now manages over 80 personnel and is committed to excellence from the point of an initial enquiry through to completion and customer care. Paul’s wealth of knowledge and vast training has enabled Hillserve to meet and exceed in a competitive marketplace.

With over 10 years senior HR expertise, Tracy is a Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and manages all aspects of growth, employee relations and employment law for the Group, working with the Management Team to achieve the Group goals through effective human resource management.
Tracy’s previous roles have included six years’ in the residential development and construction industries.
