No cavity wall? No problem.
The chances are that if a property was built before 1930 it has solid brick walls. Even in the 50s and 60s many properties were built with steel frames and prefabricated concrete panels. Both techniques produced walls with very poor insulation properties. Improving their performance by adding cavity insulation is not an option, because there is simply no cavity to fill.
So what can be done to make these homes warmer and cheaper to heat?
Hillserve offer two solutions, both of which use existing walls as the basis for a radically improved conductivity performance. By adding either external or internal cladding, even the oldest properties can achieve the same thermal rating as a modern home.
